Steve Pierson

Executive Director

Steve Pierson is a former candidate for CA Assembly, and has deep relationships and knowledge of California politics. He has worked on multiple California Congressional campaigns all over the state including most recently as Director of Operations for George Whitesides for Congress. Steve is a grassroots leader having served as Southern California Field Director and National Training Director for Swing Left, and as co-founder of the Resistance Boot Camp. He is also a leader in the California Democratic Party as a four term Delegate, Executive Board Member, and Co-Chair of the CA Democratic Party’s Organizing Committee.

In addition to his campaign work, Steve hosts The Practivist Pod and is known nationwide as a trusted and inspiring voice who brings unmatched experience in mobilizing communities and supporting Democratic campaigns.

Ben Seinfeld

Ben Seinfeld is a veteran Democratic political strategist with more than a decade of experience leading campaigns and party operations at the local, state, and national levels. He currently serves as Deputy Campaign Manager for Eric Swalwell for Governor of California, following more than six years as Political Director of the California Democratic Party, where he oversaw statewide political strategy, coordinated with campaigns, labor, and grassroots partners, and helped guide the party through multiple election cycles. Ben previously served as Executive Director of the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State and managed Alex Padilla’s successful 2018 reelection campaign for California Secretary of State. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles on Kamala Harris’s U.S. Senate campaign, managed and staffed multiple legislative and municipal races across Los Angeles County, and began his career in public service as a Field Deputy for the City of Los Angeles. He is widely respected for his operational discipline, coalition-building skills, and deep understanding of California’s political landscape.
